There are various ways to write recommendations. Some of the educational institutions pose their students to cite the references according to their prescribed pattern. They follow their own criteria of writing reference style. In a broader view, some organisations define the references according to their approach of research.
More often below references methods are cited according to the demand.
Moreover, there are two ways of writing reference, i.e., in-text citation and bibliography.
In this approach, a text must be mentioned as a source within the body. This is called in-text referencing. Author’s last name and year of publication are compulsory for in-text citation. This method alerts the reader, about the origin of information and also proves the evidence of detailed reference. Following specific referencing style corresponding footnotes will be placed at the bottom of each page. This will include the detailed manuscript of citation.
There are some predefined rules and standards for referencing patterns. A core foundation of referencing institutes defines those standards. It depends, which referencing method is being followed, and when there is a need to reference subject of study and area of research.
The citation also refers, how to organize the writing, and giving tribute to already made efforts on the literature of the same subject. Research in any discipline is a diverse approach. If there is no precise referencing style advised, then its writer’s choice to choose any design for citation. Most commonly Harvard referencing style is used in research. Because it gives a free option of thoughts to writers to evolve around the literature and it is also the most uncomplicated referencing style. Means it does not bound the writer around the line by line. For examples: “Peter and Zelda (2015), defines the general phenomena of …”

How to Prevent From Plagiarism?
Plagiarism scrutinized as cheating because it is a severe offence in some jurisdictions. Whether intentionally or unintentionally, something is copied from another’s work, it stated as plagiarism. Students feel guilty when their assignments caught as plagiarized. More or fewer students failed in final report submission due to piracy. Sometimes a writer couldn’t understand the standard citation procedure and how to cite or extract any particular idea from the prescribed topic or literature. This is why the software catches the writing as plagiarized. Using a specific source of information in the right manner at the right time and avoid similar words and ideas prevent the script to be plagiarized. Using correct source citation gives not only proper gratitude to writing but also bring analytical results to writing and future studies.
